A 12-year-old female is brought into your office by her mother. She states that the child was recently diagnosed with "strep throat" and was prescribed penicillin for treatment. Over the last day, the child has suddenly developed a rash that is pruritic and erythematous, as seen in Figure A. The child has a history of asthma. On exam, her vitals are within normal limits.
