The family lives in a rural part of the state, requiring a 2 hour drive to the nearest hospital. He currently appears to be in significant pain and has vomited twice in the past hour. His temperature is 36.7°C (98°F), blood pressure is 100/63 mmHg, pulse is 115/min, respirations are 22/min, and oxygen saturation is 100% on room air. There is a sausage-shaped mass noted on palpation of the right upper quadrant of the abdomen. Ultrasound of the abdomen is consistent with a diagnosis of intussusception.
